*Registered Dietitian registered through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required; minium 3 years of RD practitioner experience required; teaching experience preferred.
*Competence with computer applications in general and specifically in nutrition or food systems management.
Responsibilities:
*Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the following areas: nutrition, food science or food systems management.
*Assume responsibilities as Dietetic Internship DIrector for graduate program.
*Other responsibilities include: student advising, university service, and involvement in professional organization.

Position: Nutrition Program: Lecturer
The University of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC), Department of Health and Human Performance invites qualified applications for a lecturer-level faculty position. This is a non-tenure-track, renewable 9-month appointment beginning August 1, 2013. The UTC Didactic Program in Dietetics is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
The successful candidate for this position will be expected to effectively teach undergraduate nutrition courses, serve as program advisor to a diverse population of nutrition majors and intended majors, participate in recruiting activities associated with promotion of the dietetics major, and provide service to the department, university, community, and profession. Collaborative and cooperative skills to work with other faculty and staff within the department, college, and clinical sites are essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field
- Registered Dietitian according to the Commission on Dietetic Registration (US)
- College-level teaching experience (adjunct or full-time)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to implement contemporary and relevant technology in courses and research
Preferred Qualifications:
- Online course delivery experience
- Clinical supervision experience
- Teaching/mentoring at off-campus sites
- Active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Clinical Services Manager (Full-Time)
PearlPoint Cancer Support, an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that provides supportive services to adults and family members impacted by cancer, is seeking a registered dietitian to join the organization’s cancer supportive services team to lead clinical operations including functional responsibility for sustainable program delivery of oncology nutrition, social work and clinical trials education, ongoing innovation and improvement, and quality control and evaluation toward client satisfaction.
The Clinical Services Manager, with the guidance of the Director of Client Services, develops and implements a professional development program to evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of staff. S/he works with clinical staff to develop objective performance measurements, and to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all clinical employees. S/he recruits, hires, and oversees training and orientation of direct service staff (including but not limited to dietitians, social workers, and clinical trials educators), establishing consistent, objective program performance standards of accountability. The Clinical Services Manager defines, documents and continuously improves service processes in alignment with organizational and program objectives. In providing direct consultations, s/he performs evaluation of individual needs; providing recommendations, personalized guidance and resources as appropriate. S/he writes and edits oncology education content, helping maintain quality and quantity of client resources for website and social media sites.
The successful candidate must have a BA/BS in a field related to cancer (nutrition/dietetics, psychology, public health, social work, nursing, etc.). Candidates must be certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed as a Registered Dietitian (successful candidates will be required to take the CSO certification exam as soon as qualified to do so). Minimum five (5) years of experience in cancer supportive services. Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience. Excellent computer and customer service skills required. Spanish speaking preferred.
