Reginal One Health – Provides clinical nutrition services to inpatient/outpatients. Assesses patient’s status and develops/implements a nutrition care plan in accordance with patients’ nutrition requirements, Medical Nutrition Therapy and Regulatory Standards. Participates in the interdisciplinary team process and conducts training/education programs as required.
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree from an accredited school with a major in food and nutrition and successful completion of a dietetic internship, traineeship or coordinated program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the neonate, infant, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION: (1) Registered by the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Licensed by the State of Tennessee Board of Dietitian/Nutritionist Examiners. (2) Eligible to obtain licensure within one (1) year of employment.
Credentials and Licensure must be maintained/ current.
